As we continue strengthening our dynamic and growing team, we are honored to announce that Grace Mellis joins Altruist as our first Chief Financial Officer.

Her knack and passion for growth make Grace an undeniable asset to our team as we strive to make independent financial advice better, more accessible, and affordable. Grace brings years of diverse experience in the financial services industry in both the public and private sectors. She focused on transformation and business expansion within several notable organizations, including JPMorgan Chase and HyreCar.

Grace thrives in environments where she can foster an organization's ability to scale tactically and intentionally.

The Altruist team is full of incredibly experienced and humble people who want to do things better than we've done
them before. Driving real change in the financial services industry requires the right mix of people to see it through, and Altruist has that. Together, we will create the infrastructure needed to ensure thoughtful hyper-growth and scalability," said Grace.

Needless to say, our team is thrilled to collaborate with her.

Grace's experience speaks for itself. She is also an amazing person who spends time mentoring and assisting others on their career paths. There's no doubt that Grace is going to help us scale in a meaningful way that supports our current and future team," said Jason, CEO.

An element of Grace's vision as CFO is to make sure that diversity, inclusion, and equality continue to be woven into every facet of the company. Grace believes Altruist can help set new standards for the financial services industry by implementing a people-centric approach to financial operations, engaging the entire company.

Finance can be a superpower if it is the strategic heartbeat of the company. There's nothing more empowering than knowing you have every department, every team, and every person working together in unison to achieve a mutual goal."
